CHANGE

Our first half year here in Portugal is already over and time has flown by. And already the first change is upon us: we have to move, with a heavy heart! From the beginning it was clear that the time in our house was limited. Our landlord already had bookings for the now beginning tourist season.

Luckily, with the help of our Portuguese friends, we were able to find a new house. Not far from here, located at the gates of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Unfortunately no longer directly by the sea, but very quiet, with a great view of the 'Serra Litoral' and a really big garden and lots of fruit trees.

We will be able to stay here as long as we want. Francisco, our new landlord, has set us no limit.

In the meantime, all the building documents for our new house have been submitted to the 'Camara Municipal' in Odemira, flanked by endless forms, underpinned with plenty of bureaucracy. And? The building permit was granted, so we can start! Our focus is now on breaking ground as soon as possible in coordination with our contractor.
